[STYLE] C.P. COMPANY X ASICS: GEL-QUANTUM 360™ VIII

C.P. Company and ASICS SportStyle are teaming up for the exciting launch of their first-ever collaboration – available in-store at FLANNELS X, and online at FLANNELS.com.
With a passionate focus on tradition, design, and innovation, C.P. Company and ASICS bring their unique design language and creative lens to reimagine a new GEL-QUANTUM 360TM VIII.

To reinterpret the GEL-QUANTUM 360TM VIII, C.P. Company embraced the Urban Agility concept from The Metropolis Series, the Italian brand’s collection dedicated to investigating modern urban landscapes.

Inspired by the iconic Metropolis Jacket, part of the Urban Protection Project launched in 1999, The Metropolis Series features tone-on-tone branding, functional pocket systems, high-performance fabrics including HyST, A.A.C. and GORE-TEX INFINIUMTM, and advanced manufacturing techniques.

The project was displayed with an exclusive preview in a multifunctional space, during the Paris Fashion Week. The space was designed to reflect the metropolitan surroundings in all its layers: noises, the wind, street lights, sounds, and building bricks. All inspiring elements for the design of GEL-QUANTUM 360TM VIII.

The GEL-QUANTUM 360TM VIII sneaker draws inspiration from natural forms and interlocking structures. Its upper construction is reimagined with 5D print details that resemble ergonomic shapes found in nature. Meanwhile, the advanced TRUSSTICTM technology and external back counter help create better stability and a more dynamic appearance.

The shoe’s midsole has been redesigned with DIVISION SPACETM technology to offer more cushioning and less weight. Meanwhile, the FF BLASTTM PLUS ECO cushioning includes at least 20% biomass derived from sugar cane. This helps provide more resilience and comfort underfoot.
