BROKEN PLANET CELEBRATE VALENTINE’S DAY WITH BASICS DROP: In celebration of Valentine’s Day, sustainable streetwear brand Broken Planet are dropping off their latest collection, ‘Luv Day Basics’. The range is set for release on Sunday, 16th February at 8PM GMT, while there will also be an exclusive Luv Day Event on Saturday, 15th February in collaboration with Tony’s Chocolonely at a secret location.
Led by partners Lukas Žvikas and Indrė Narbutaitė, Broken Planet have enjoyed a huge rise since their inception back in 2020, becoming one of the fastest growing streetwear brands worldwide. Focussing on capsule collections in limited quantities, all of their releases in 2024 have sold out rapidly having built a loyal community over the last four years. Last year in particular saw incredible growth and 2025 got off to an electric start with their innovative ‘All The Stars’ collection.
As always, the new Luv Day Basics drop combines Broken Planet’s instantly recognisable styles and silhouettes with new innovation from the brand. There is also a greater focus on exciting and unique takes on womenswear, something that Indré Narbutaité is passionate about. Here we can see a Star Girl Fur Hoodie in Washed Mocha, as well as a Washed Pink Zip-Up and matching cuffed Sweatpants featuring sun logo embroidery.
The collection further delivers with a Foldover Beanie in Pink, as well as a Mocha Polar Fleece with sun embroidery on the front and back and panelling details. There are also restocks of some BP classics, including their wide leg Jeans in Washed Grey, and an Emerald Green Hoodie with matching sweatpants.
To mark the drop and celebrate the romantic holiday, Saturday 15th February will see Broken Planet and Tony’s Chocolonely team up for their Luv Day Event. Tony’s have created custom chocolate bars where the winners will receive golden tickets, giving them the chance to meet BP’s founders who will be handing out exclusive prizes. In order for everyone in attendance to have a fair chance of winning, the secret location for the event will only be announced hours before.
The event will be powered by Floozie Cookies and Greedy Cow Bakes, who will be providing hot chocolate and donuts respectively. Furthermore, anyone attending the event will receive exclusive early access to two new drops before their official release later this month.Having been worn by everyone from SZA and Kehlani to Jude Bellingham and Central Cee, Broken Planet have become an inescapable presence in global streetwear, stamping their authority in the space last year in particular. ‘Luv Day Basics’ is a celebration of streetwear, womenswear, and Valentine’s Day, with the activation set to deliver an unforgettable Valentine’s weekend for Broken Planet enthusiasts everywhere.
