HENRI LLOYD SS26: BEYOND THE HORIZON AND THE SPIRIT OF CONNECTION
HENRI LLOYD SS26: To mark the opening of the boating season, Henri-Lloyd has unveiled a Spring Summer ‘26 collection that strips away the artifice of technical performance to find something more profound: a lived-in authenticity. This season isn’t just about the gear; it’s about the presence, wellbeing, and quiet clarity found when we immerse ourselves in the natural world.
The collection, titled Marine Classics, represents a more natural expression of the brand’s DNA. It is clothing designed to be worn through real moments of movement, craft, and connection to the sea—pieces that look and feel their best when salt-sprayed and weathered by the journey.
A Journey Without a Clock
To capture the soul of SS26, Henri-Lloyd headed to the rugged coastline of Mallorca. Aboard a Spirit 68, the brand followed sailor and adventurer James Aiken alongside award-winning chef and food writer Gill Meller.
The shoot wasn’t a series of posed frames but a documented journey from Palma to a remote beach. It captured the slow, deliberate reality of sailing, anchoring, and the primal ritual of cooking over an open fire. It was a day defined by the absence of a schedule—that rare feeling of being exactly where you are meant to be, draped in clothing that facilitates the experience rather than distracting from it.
HENRI LLOYD SS26 – The Technical Core
While the aesthetic is effortless, the engineering remains uncompromising. Henri-Lloyd continues to lead with purposeful, sustainable innovation:
-
The Viking Smock: A hero of the collection, offering everyday protection from wind and light showers. Crucially, it features a PFAS-free (C0) durable water repellent coating, aligning technical necessity with environmental responsibility.
-
Mav Lite 2.0: This waterproof jacket is a masterclass in versatility. It’s built for the elements but tailored for the everyday, featuring a relaxed, controlled fit that allows for layering without the bulk.
-
The Voyager Rugby: A bridge between heritage and the future. Made from 100% organic sustainably-derived cotton in a substantial 320 gsm jersey, it brings the classic rugby silhouette into the modern, eco-conscious wardrobe.
Life Beyond the Water
The inclusion of James Aiken and Gill Meller is no coincidence. Both are long-time admirers of the brand who champion the restorative power of the outdoors. Their involvement highlights that while Henri-Lloyd is born from the sea, its utility extends to anyone who craves a deeper connection with nature.
