[STYLE] HIGHSNOBIETY ANNOUNCES NOT IN PARIS TAKEOVER DURING PARIS FASHION WEEK

Highsnobiety, the media pioneer who since its inception in 2005 has been at the forefront of youth culture across the globe, announces “Not in Paris 5” – the fifth installment of its series of content, commerce, and experiential programming celebrating fashion and culture during Paris Fashion Week Men’s Spring 2024 season.

Highsnobiety’s multimedia flagships bring the Highsnobiety universe to life in a format bridging community, content, and commerce. First introduced in June 2020 in the wake of global lockdowns, “Not in Paris” was created as a digital solution to the absence of traditional fashion week activities. In the years since the program has taken on a physical presence while maintaining a digital content showcase bringing the best of fashion and culture to Highsnobiety’s audience of next-generation tastemakers. Not in Paris unites Highsnobiety’s global community through a shared 360-degree cultural experience.

Next week Highsnobiety’s “Not In Paris” flagship returns for its fifth iteration, with product collaborations, events, and parties happening between the 20th and 25th of June. Highsnobiety has curated product collaborations with cultural pioneers across the five pillars of Parisian lifestyle – Art and Film, Literature, Fashion, Music, and Gastronomy.

They will celebrate each collaborator’s French roots by welcoming their communities into the Not In Paris pop-up store, which takes over a new location in the heart of Paris at 101 Rue Réaumur, 75002, Paris, France. Covering two floors and debuting exclusive products, installations, exhibitions, and events over five days, this will be Highsnobiety’s most significant popup location so far.

Together Highsnobiety and Adidas have created a Not in Paris limited run Stan Smith. Adorned with a debossed printing of the Highsnobiety logo and embroidered Eiffel Tower on the side of each sneaker, the limited-edition shoe is available in two colorways: White / Green and Creme / Blue, with the latter only produced in a limited run of 150 pairs.

Highsnobiety and École Kourtrajmé collaborate to bring visibility to banlieue cinema and art, creating their own ‘court ménage’ short film that explores the question: ‘What is the real Paris?’ starring Parisian citizens. The video is commemorated by a collection including a bomber jacket, hoodie, dual t-shirt styles, and cap.

Additional collaborators include iconic Parisian institutions Café de Flore, L’as du Fallafel, LouLou, Palais de Tokyo; clothing labels Luar, Retrosuperfuture, Jean Paul Gaultier, The Fabricant, K-Way and JM Weston, and many more.

Guests will be able to shop the highly curated range of one-of-a-kind Highsnobiety brand and collaborative products at the Not in Paris Flagship from June 20th – June 25th.

The partnership between Highsnobiety and StockX is reprised throughout Not in Paris. StockX will present a fully immersive experience within the NIP flagship including a life-sized Grail Vault that will hold coveted items up for grabs to those lucky enough to score a key. To access the vault, visitors will take their turn at a custom StockX claw machine filled with encased StockX verification tags and site credits.

The StockX tags double as keys that unlock compartments within the vault holding highly sought-after sneakers, accessories, and collectibles. The space will also be home to a custom sneaker wall featuring a curated range of silhouettes available for purchase. Attendees can also enter for a chance to win one of three in-demand ReStockX prizes — including an Air Jordan 1 Low OG SP Travis Scott Olive, Jacquemus Pink Le Bambino Bag, and KAWS Holiday UK Vinyl Figure Set — for a mere $1 bid.

Events will kick off with an Opening Ceremony on June 20th at the popup location, a Highsnobiety x StockX magazine launch party in celebration of the Summer Issue co-hosted by cover star Winnie Harlow, and Highsnobiety is partnering with 99Ginger and NTS on a Fête de la Musique afterparty at Carbone Clube, followed by a series of celebratory events throughout the week.
