[STYLE] PERCIVAL X SLAZENGER COMBINE FOR TENNIS INSPIRED CAPSULE COLLECTION

British menswear brand Percival has teamed up with Slazenger for an exclusive tennis-inspired capsule collection. Coinciding with the start of the prestigious Wimbledon tennis tournament, the new range is set to drop on the 4th of July and will be available both in Percival Soho store and at Percivalclo.com

Slazenger has become synonymous with the sport of tennis thanks to its rich history of racquet-making and apparel dating back to the 19th century. Slazenger tennis balls were first used at Wimbledon in 1902, while a host of Grand Slam champions have adorned the iconic black panther logo, which has been interpolated in this new collection with the Percival brand name.

The new range has been inspired by the prestige and heritage of tennis tournaments and the country clubs that host them, blending understated ath-leisure wear with sophisticated summer fits.

Speaking on the collection, Chris Gove, the founder of Percival, states:

“We met at center court and were inspired by vintage tennis tournaments and attire. It was a fantastic experience working with Slazenger and we are delighted with all the pieces in the collection. The Racquet, Country Club. Ace.”

As the Summer gets into full swing, Percival’s commitment to subverting the classics of menswear has created a perfect encapsulation of British summer sport. Coupled with Slazenger’s status as a leader in sporting apparel, there is no doubt that this new range will be serving up looks across the sporting calendar.
