JD LAUNCHES EXCLUSIVE NEW BALANCE 740 COLOURWAYS: JD, the leading retailer for sports, fashion and lifestyle brands announces exclusive partnership with New Balance to launch a range of brand new 740 colourways. In celebration, JD and New Balance have brough together three global artists in their latest campaign.
The campaign shines a spotlight on singer-songwriter Ayra Starr, rapper and actor Jaden Smith, and singer/YouTuber Zom Marie, elevating the 740 across both JD Sports and talent channels to showcase how the 740 is worn day to night – from 7:40am to 7:40pm. The multi-channel campaign positions the 740 as an aspirational, yet accessible, ‘all day style’ and performance shoe for JD consumers all around the globe.
Ayra Starr is a Nigerian singer and songwriter who has quickly risen to prominence with her distinctive blend of Afrobeat, pop, and R&B. Known for her captivating voice and bold, eclectic style, she gained widespread attention with her breakout single “Away” and her debut EP Ayra Starr. As a rising star in the Nigerian music scene, Ayra has become celebrated for her unapologetic confidence, empowering lyrics, and genre-blending sound.
