KLEKT’S SOLE STORIES SEASON 1 REVEALS 6 UNFORGETTABLE SNEAKER MEMORIES: KLEKT has completed the first season of Sole Stories, a new interview series hosted by renowned sneaker designer, collector, and KLEKT Chief Community Curator Sean Wotherspoon. The project brings together six influential figures from sneaker culture, fashion, entertainment, art, and music.
Rather than focusing purely on hype, resale value, or the latest releases, Sole Stories explores the personal stories behind the sneakers people collect — the memories, places, people, and cultural moments that make a particular pair special.
Season 1 Guest Line-up

Ben Baller – Legendary jeweller, entrepreneur, and one of the world’s most recognisable sneaker collectors, discussing his passion for collecting and the stories behind his footwear.

Sean Wotherspoon – Designer, collector, and vintage aficionado who hosts the series, bringing his unique perspective and deep knowledge of sneaker culture to the conversations.

Mike Cherman – Founder and creative director of MARKET, discussing the story behind his iconic Grateful Dead x Crocs collaboration and his approach to design and street culture.

What makes Sole Stories different is its focus on the human connection to sneakers.
For some guests, a sneaker represents a career-defining moment. For others, it is connected to a particular place, friendship, collaboration, or period in their lives. The result is a series that explores sneaker culture through the people who have helped shape it, rather than simply concentrating on what is currently trending.
With Season 1 now complete, Sole Stories provides an entertaining and accessible look at the people, stories, and culture that sit behind one of the world’s most influential communities. KLEKT and Sean Wotherspoon are already looking ahead to Season 2, with further guests and stories to come.
