SLAWN TEAMS UP WITH HALO AND XBOX FOR 3 EPIC DAYS OF ART AND GAMING AT TRUMAN BREWERY: Powered by East London café Beau Beaus, the unique pop-up experience brought custom console designs, free matcha, and interactive gaming to celebrate the new Halo: Campaign Evolved release.
Multidisciplinary creative force Slawn joined forces with Xbox and Halo for an unforgettable weekend activation at East London’s Truman Brewery. Powered by Slawn’s community hub and café, Beau Beaus, the interactive popup brought together art, gaming, and culture to celebrate the arrival of Halo: Campaign Evolved.
The three-day event kicked off with an exclusive, invite-only VIP evening on Friday, featuring a live painting session led by Slawn, alongside gaming setups, entertainment, and limited-edition surprises. Across Saturday and Sunday, the doors opened to the public, giving fans a hands-on opportunity to step into the world of Halo, play on Xbox consoles throughout the day, and enjoy complimentary matcha from the Beau Beaus team.
For the collaboration, Slawn applied his unmistakable line-heavy, caricaturistic style to a custom Xbox console and controller, alongside a bespoke capsule of Halo x Slawn merchandise available via QR codes at the venue. The original artworks took direct inspiration from iconic enemies across the Halo universe alongside the classic Xbox nexus logo. The pop-up also featured bold artwork from visual and musical artist Kida Kudz, whose vibrant use of shape and colour complemented Slawn’s graphic pieces.
From designing the 2023 BRIT Award to collaborating with icons like SZA, Beyoncé, and A$AP Rocky—as well as lending his visual language to Formula 1, the FA Cup, and the NFL—Slawn continues to push creative boundaries. The Beau Beau’s Campaign Evolved experience marks another standout moment where art and subculture seamlessly intersect.
