What five words define your sound?
Vibrant, Melodic, genre blending, energetic, soulful.
Tell me something unique about your creative process
It’s not really unique but, everything comes from the mind and soul. I cannot sing out loud and develop the process. it all starts with me resonating with the beat, the melody starts inside the mind before I touch the mic. Once I find that pocket, it’s a wrap.
Which song of yours would you like people to hear first?
‘Caution’.
What inspired you to make that song?
The hardships of learning that love is not enough in this world.
What’s the most vulnerable you’ve allowed yourself to be when writing/making music?
Allowed myself to be at my lowest whilst finding the time to still make music, sometimes that’s when the best creative process comes out.
What’s the best/worst experience you’ve had on stage?
Best experience on stage was having most of the Indigo O2 cheering my name. Worst experience was having technical difficulties as I had to speak to the crowd in the midst of it all which I hate deep down.
What is your favourite song to perform?
Favourite song to perform is either ‘Tek Buddy’ or ‘Woah Woah’ but that’s probably just down to the reaction of the crowd not so much sonically.
Which artist/song/album made you want to make music?
Michael Jackson – ‘The Way You Make Me Feel’.
What’s the meaning behind your name?
Meaning behind my name is simply a family name.
If you weren’t making music, what would you be doing instead?
Finding out ways to become somebody in this world that feels limited.
What’s success to you?
Peace of mind, being able to look after my family and make memories.
What moment in your life/career forced you to change direction?
Realising even your closest ones will turn against you.
Where can people keep in touch with you?
Mostly on TikTok or Instagram.
