DM’s extensive archive continues to deliver workwear-inspired silhouettes. Refined and redefined.
In the 60 years since Dr. Martens first started producing workwear, much has changed. What’s more important now more than ever is versatility, craft and timelessness. The Lowell shoe is designed for contemporary culture.
A 4-eye shoe.
Crafted for the 7 am alarm after a late finish.
Built for freelance lifestyles, the unexpected client feedback, the changing of the brief, and chasing an unpaid invoice.
Designed for exploring vinyl collections and working out a set list. Useful for curating a wardrobe of clothes into a capsule collection.
Prepared for a buying an expensive coffee before half a day of selling expensive coffee, no moment to stop or sit down.
Constructed for heading straight out, no need and no time to change. Hitting the streets and transitioning into nightlife.
Suitable for gallery openings to support a friend, possibly understanding the post-post-modern irony in a converted warehouse, and definitely understanding the open bar.
Shaped for showings of In The Mood For Love, shown in 70mm, the only way to experience it properly.
Equipped for takeaways, checking the time, calculating how much sleep is needed and trying that new editing software.
And ready to do it all again tomorrow.
The Lowell collection is explored through neutral shades and high-quality leathers. Easy-wearing craft matched with day-to-night versatility. It is elevated with design embellishments across the shoe, including stitched detailing along the sides, a leather heel tab, a padded collar and finished with a moccasin toe. Set on a rugged BEN outsole with DM’s signature yellow welt stitch.
The Lowell collection will be available instore and online from 1st August, retailing at £170.
