[STYLE] CHAMPION AND PERCIVAL COLLABORATE ON NEW ‘THE FRUIT STAND’ RELEASE

British menswear brand Percival and American sportswear giants Champion have once again teamed up to create a fresh new collection titled ‘The Fruit Stand’…

The new range perfectly marries the timeless sportswear aesthetic of the Champion brand with Percival’s playful, sartorial style. Percival have made a name for themselves by subverting the classics of British menswear, and this collection is no different. Taking inspiration from the corner shop, a staple of the British high street, this collection draws upon the intricacies of fruit stickers and stamps.

Champion meanwhile are widely regarded as the inventors of the hoodie and have a rich history of delivering stylish, practical sportswear to their customers. Their new autumn winter heavyweight hoodies, track pants and tees make up the base of the new range with new oversized fits, and Percival have added some of their signature embroidery details.

Percival have also looked to innovate in this collection by exploring a range of different techniques throughout. These include different thread and finishing processes, as well as the development of woven labels that embellish the Champion collaboration.

Chris Gove, co-founder of Percival, said of the collection:

“We’re delighted to once again team up with Champion and we are so pleased with the results of this collaboration. The Fruit Stand celebrates the amount of thought and design that goes into artful fruit stickers and stamps, plus some of the things you may or may not find in your local convenient, corner shop.”

The collection will be available from the 9th of November both in store at Percival Soho and via Percival’s website.
