[NEWS] THE PLATFORM EMPOWERING CREATIVES, A NEW-AGE FOR CONTACT

Since starting in 2020, Contact has upended the fashion industry by directly connecting models, photographers and hair & makeup artists with bookers and agents. This seamlessly enables clients can book creatives directly on the platform – a historically labour-intensive process. Contact’s community has grown rapidly in the past year, consisting of over 900 creatives and 2,000 brands across retail,
high-end fashion sectors and creative industries including the likes of Balenciaga, Vogue, Urban Outfitters and Primark. See all past collaborations completed through Contact here.

Now, Contact has its sights set on the rest of Europe’s $104.2 billion creative industry. In July 2022, Contact will open up the platform to become an even bigger home for all creators from graphic designers, and filmmakers to musicians and beyond. The expansion is all part of Contact’s revamped mission to be the key destination for creatives to manage their career and get paid. The long-term mission is simple, to support 1 million creatives to make a full time living on Contact. With Contact handling all the admin and technical pieces, the company empowers creatives to focus on the important thing – their craft.

CONTACT’s market penetration is set to increase even further as it offers yet more services to top industry names in fashion and opens up to a wide pool of creatives. To mark this announcement, we at CONTACT curated a bespoke and exclusive campaign film which visually illustrates and directly expresses the core goals of CONTACT, what keeps us going, and why we approach creativity differently.

The platform comes from esteemed designer, and multidisciplinary creative Reuben Selby, Contact provides a safe haven for a diverse roster of talent, and heavy-hitting brands to converge and collaborate – creating a space of creative empowerment for all involved. Over 2,000 jobs have been booked via the platform, and want to know the best bit? Contact doesn’t charge creatives a penny. In fact, creatives have saved over £200,000 in agency fees and commission so far. We’re proud to support our roster and their talents, so much so Contact represented talents have received over £865,000 in earnings to date. A refreshing news flash on the creative scene, as for so long creatives have fought for opportunities, with little financial return. Times are changing, and now it’s CONTACT’s time to shine.
