JD DROPS BOLD NIKE AIR MAX OG NEON CAMPAIGN FRONTED BY LOUIS THEROUX, KASST 8, ANGRY GINGE
JD, the leading retailer for youth fashion and sportswear brands unveils its first major 2026 campaign, JD x Nike Air Max OG Neon. Which hero-es the iconic Neon’s in celebration of Air Max month, bringing the legendary style home in-time for the drop on Thursday 5th March.
Rooted in the energy of trailblazers that create unique waves, unapologetically driving themselves Forever Forward, JD’s new campaign spotlights individuals who have made their mark in our culture and are now setting the pace for what’s next. The figures inspiring the next wave, the youth culture JD are committed to, and champion. Just like the Air Max, built to define eras, not follow trends.
JD mainstays Angry Ginge, Jakey and Heinz from the Bov Boys, alongside Louis Theroux and Kasst 8, lead the OG crew that have collectively driven social feeds into meltdown. It started with a post last week on JD socials. No caption. No context. Just a clip of a stock room filled with Air Max boxes and a crew packing. The internet started asking questions. Who was packing them, and who were they for?
The next day, the sender stepped out of the shadows: Kasst 8 – Liverpool’s rising voice of the streets. Widely tipped as the leading influential figure in Liverpool’s grime movement, the unapologetically Northern artist appears stationed on JD x Nike Air Max branded InPost lockers. Firing off texts reading “I’ll be there soon”, “SHIPPED OUT” and “Check your InPost” to the key players and fellow culture-setters in his circle. Then, click. The InPost locker door swings open to reveal the iconic Neon’s. That electric green hit. The unmistakable grey gradient. A silhouette that’s long been stitched into sneaker culture.
Cut to Angry Ginge and the Bov Boys running trick shots on the pool table and racking up 100s at the dartboard, the collective in full flow – just hanging out. Until there’s a knock at the door. Kasst 8 arrives with his first delivery. The group with Kasst 8 crowd around the unmistakable JD duffle, looking down as a neon green light beams up.
Today, Kasst 8 fired his last text to Louis Theroux. Cut to a busy podcast studio mid-setup. Louis sits calmy as his crew adjust lights around him, locked into Kasst 8’s “They’re Called 110s”. His stylist runs through fits, including a bold neon tracksuit, when his phone buzzes with a message from the 6ft 7 powerhouse: “Check your InPost.” From an InPost locker, Louis retrieves an OG Air Max box. Back seated at his desk, he lifts the lid. The OG’s get the Theroux nod of approval. An OG Neon. For an OG of the game.
Considered by many collectors to be the GOAT, the Air Max 95 was designed by Sergio Lozano in 1995, igniting a new era. Doubling down on ’90s energy through an unapologetically bold anatomy- inspired design, unlike any sneaker before. The JD x Nike Air Max OG Neon campaign builds on that legacy, featuring the Nike Air Max 90, alongside two JD Exclusive tracksuits which are available to purchase, with the OG Neon dropping on Thursday 5th March 2026:
- Nike Air Max 95 Woven Track Top – Grey – JD Exclusive – £90
- Nike Air Max 95 Woven Track Pants – Grey – JD Exclusive – £80
- Nike Air Max 95 Woven Track Top – Black – JD Exclusive – £90
- Nike Air Max 95 Woven Track Pants – Black – JD Exclusive – £80

- Nike Air Max 95 OG Neon – Launches on 5th March 2026
Teaming up with InPost, JD x Nike OG Neon branded lockers have been popping up across key public spots, and they’re about to land at JD Liverpool One and Manchester Trafford.
