[STYLE] NEW ERA CELEBRATES WORLD SERIES CHAMPIONS IN SPRING COLLECTION
New Era’s latest MLB collection takes us on an historic journey through time by paying homage to some of baseball’s most iconic MLB World Series champions and the corresponding years that they won the championship. The New York Yankees, Los Angeles Dodgers and Detroit Tigers are all represented in the new drop which includes a mixture of apparel and headwear in deep navy, icy blue, and fresh off-white for the colder season.
Kicking off the collection and starting with the outer layers for the cooler months is the Detroit Tigers navy-blue varsity jacket with contrasting white sleeves. Reminiscent of the retro baseball aesthetic, the jacket features premium embroidery on the left chest featuring the iconic Tigers ‘D’ log and World Series applique on the back which includes the year 1984 – the Tiger’s fourth and latest World Series win. A corresponding curved 9FORTY accompanies the jacket in slick black with a standout ‘D’ team logo at the front and centre.
The New York Yankees hit a home run with a co-ord apparel and headwear combo. Beating the cold start to the season, a snapback 9FIFTY and curved 9FORTY are available with a white and icy blue Yankees logo on the front and a matching New Era flag logo on the left-hand side while placed against a contrasting black base all over. A premium reverse weave navy hoodie and t-shirt complete the collection with corresponding colourways to the headwear and stand-out visible white stitching.
Continuing the matching headwear and apparel theme, the Los Angeles Dodgers don an iced-out blue snapback with contrasting white logos on the front and side. Like the Yankees offering, a hoody and t-shirt pair complete the collection but this time in an opposite off-white colour palette featuring dark navy visible stitching.
