[NEWS] EARL OF EAST COMBINE WITH TATTOO ARTIST CERTIFIED LETTER BOY FOR BESPOKE INCENSE

Earl of East, a London based lifestyle and beauty brand, have combined with esteemed tattoo artist Certified Letter Boy to create a bespoke incense range. The product was inspired by CLB’s creative process and is set for release on 13.12.24, just in time for Christmas.

Pablo Gutierrez, better known as ‘Certified Letter Boy’, has orchestrated a rapid rise to the top of the ink game thanks to his detailed, fine line style. Originally learning his craft in the slums of Peru, the artist began working with members of a cartel before relocating to London. Now, CLB is one of the most sought after tattooists in his profession, working with everyone from David and Romeo Beckham to Central Cee and Rick Owens.

The ritual of burning incense has always been a part of Pablo’s tattooing process but for years has struggled to find the perfect product. By teaming up with Earl of East who are known for their ability to tell stories through scent, both parties carefully considered every detail in a deeply collaborative process, from the materials used to the way the incense burned. This in turn has led to an incense with notes of bergamot, patchouli, tonka bean, and violet, creating a well rounded aroma that produces a calming yet focussed atmosphere when lit.

Speaking on the collaboration Certified Letter Boy states:

“The soft tendrils of smoke, the shift in atmosphere, it’s all part of setting the tone for creativity. It’s more than a backdrop; it’s an essential element of my studio. For me, it’s a way to share a piece of my process with others, offering them a glimpse into the atmosphere where creativity thrives.”

For both parties, this collaboration isn’t just about incense. It’s a meeting of two worlds- tattoo artistry and fragrance – coming together to create something entirely unique. The incense delivers the Certified Letter Boy experience, brought to life with Earl of East.

Available on 13.12.24 priced at £24.99.
