[STYLE] JEANIUS BAR ATELIER AND TAPE LONDON COMBINE FOR EXCLUSIVE CAPSULE COLLECTION

Jeanius Bar Atelier, a new fashion house founded by avant-garde designer Dagye, have collaborated with Tape London for an exclusive capsule collection. Inspired by Tape London’s expansion to Mykonos, the release makes use of light materials and pastel colours to create a relaxed yet sleek design.

Jeanius Bar Atelier was founded by Dagye in 2020. Of Ghanaian and German descent, the creator has been making waves in the fashion industry in London and beyond since 2016 with his ADWOA brand, styling tastemakers including UK Rap heavyweights Lancey Foux and Nemzzz, as well as elite footballers from Paul Pogba and Vinicius Junior to Eduardo Camavinga and Antonio Rudiger. Dagye has ambitions for Jeanius to become one of the largest fashion brands in the UK and worldwide, combining sustainable practices with unique, specialised designs.

Since opening their doors back in 2015, Tape London have reached the pinnacle of nightlife in the United Kingdom, becoming the most recognisable brand of their kind in the UK. This summer saw the opening of Little Tape on the Greek island of Mykonos, propelling them to further international notoriety and bridging the gap between Europe, the United Kingdom, and the United States.

This exclusive collection sees Jeanius combine lightweight, breathable materials of dyed linen and moleskin with an oversized, subtle silhouette. The use of pastel colours in the colourways, Sky Grey and Sky Blue, make for an understatedly smart finish.

The capsule takes Inspiration from the workwear culture of the working class in the uk, juxtaposing this with the aspirational qualities of Mykonos. This in turn sums up the ethos of Jeanius – implementing bespoke elements of high fashion whilst also staying true to their roots.

This collaboration brings together innovation from both fashion and the nightlife and entertainment sectors, celebrating the enterprising qualities of both Tape and Jeanius. Both of these brands find themselves in the epicentre of the cultures they are a part of and look set to continue to reach new heights as they move forward.
