[FEATURE] MY FAVOURITE MIXTAPE: ARMZ KORLEONE

What’s your favourite mixtape ever?

I don’t have a favourite mixtape as I hardly listen to albums or mixtapes, just individual songs I like. But I remember listening to a mixtape called ‘Off The Rail’ by a grime MC called All in One and I thought it was awesome.

Why is it so significant to you?

The mixtape ‘Off The Rail’ by All in One was significant because it captured the essence of Grime music. His style of lyricism and flow was something that captivated me.

Were there any artists or producers that you discovered through this tape?

Wiley was on the mixtape too, but I already knew of Wiley.

Where exactly were you when you heard the mixtape for the first time?

I was at home just searching for new Grime music to listen to and I stumbled on it.

Did it come into your life at a significant time?

Not that I can remember, it was good to just find a Grime mixtape with songs I didn’t have to skip.

How did the mixtape cover make you feel?

The mixtape cover didn’t make me feel any type of way but the songs did. Excitement.

Describe the mixtape in three words?

If I could describe the mixtape in three words it would be: sick, hard, gully!

What song is your personal favourite?

I remember listening to ‘Got A Lot Of Flows’ quite a lot. ‘One Away Girl’ was good too and ‘You’re Paranoid’.

If you could put a price on this mixtape, how much would you pay?

I don’t know what price I would put on it. It’s a great Grime mixtape, that’s all I’ll say.

Did you have a physical copy?

No I don’t have a physical copy.

No? Which is your favourite that you have a physical copy of?

I don’t own any physical copies of any mixtapes.
