[NEWS] SPLASH! FESTIVAL 2024 LINE-UP
Presales are in full flow and artists such as 21 Savage, Shirin David Pashanim and Juju have already been confirmed – splash! Festival 2024 is casting its shadow ahead. Germany’s most important hip-hop festival is now dropping its second band wave and bringing top international stars such as Gunna, OFFSET, Sexyy Red and Teezo Touchdown to Ferropolis. And German rap fans can also look forward to RIN, one of the biggest stars of the scene.
His show has been highly anticipated for two years, and now Gunna is coming to splash! for a single, exclusive show in Germany. The US rapper from Atlanta, who shaped the term “drip” for an entire generation and gave the letter “P” a place in the lexicon, charted at #1 on the R&B hip-hop album charts just last year with “fukumean” and the accompanying album “A Gift & a Curse”. In 2024, the trendsetter, whose songs even appear on Barack Obama’s favorite playlists, will give the splash! Mainstage with a new look.
Another top-class artist from the US is joining splash! with OFFSET. The sought-after feature artist and part of the multi-platinum rap trio “Migos” not only stages his own vision of what it means to be YOUNG, RICH and FAMOUS as a musician, but also as a creative director and fashion designer. This year he is going on his first festival tour in Germany and will be making an exclusive appearance at splash!
Who should definitely not be missing in 2024 is splash! legend RIN. Having just returned from a successful tour following his fourth album and various gold and platinum awards, he will be taking to the festival stage at splash! No one holds the radio rotations and playlist pole positions with his hits as much as he does.
Special attention should also be paid to the performance of Teezo Touchdown. The creative mind, who combines rock and hip-hop like no one before him, released his debut album “How do you sleep at night” in 2023 and opened the shows of Tyler, the Creator and Travis Scott in the same year. Since then, he has enjoyed one viral success after another, thanks in part to his musical diversity and love of experimentation.
ODUMODUBLVCK is currently one of the most hyped artists in Nigeria. He has become the voice of Nigerian drill, combining the ecstatic energy of grime with the twisty grooves of Afrobeats and developing his own musical genre. His single “Declan Rice” made it straight to number 1.
Last year he completely tore apart the Playground Stage and just recently sold out his tour: Souly’s huge success cries out for a repeat on the boards of the splash! Stage 2024. He most probably will also bring his new tape “Bossbaby”, which will be released at the end of February.
