There’s no question that after 10 years of working and collaborating with Sage Elsesser, he has transcended the world of skate and now sits at the intersections of culture and creativity. Recognised as one of the best in skateboarding, Sage has continued to pursue other passions explore the worlds of music and fashion. Under the stage name Navy Blue, Sage’s bourgeoning music career is the latest focus in his journey. In celebration of Elsesser’s creative endeavours – Converse unveils the Sage Elsesser Fastbreak Pro – as a reflection of who he is – past & present.
Understanding his professional and personal growth was critical in creating a product that expresses Elsesser. The vintage off-white colorway taps Sage’s style while the blue accents nod to his musical stage name, Navy Blue. It also reinstates the silhouette as a skate classic in the CONS lineup. Now touting premium leather overlays for durability, hi-density nylon and CX foam for lightweight comfort, and a CONS traction rubber sole for utility, the silhouette is familiar but new. Additional personal touches include the signature gold foil rose embroidery in addition to contrast stitching. The result? A sneaker for all venues – in the park, on the streets, in the studio. CONS looks to not only celebrate Elsesser, but the team that comprises the CONS lineup.

This fall, Converse is set to honour that spirit of innovation with the release of his latest creative vision: the Sean Pablo X Paradise One Star Pro. Drawing inspiration from 90s art-house noir, the Sean Pablo X Paradise One Star Pro brings unexpected materials, better performance, and Sean’s cinematic flair to the One Star. Updating the classic 70s silhouette for skateboarding, the shoe pairs premium rubber-backed suede and hair-on-hide cow pattern accents complement the One Star’s classic clean lines and bold branding. The CX Foam sock-liner cushioning and CONS Traction Rubber are built for skateboarding, providing better fit, function, and durability. With added art by Sean, these sneakers are the manifestation of Sean’s drive and fearlessness to always look outside the lines for inspiration.
The Sage Elsesser Fastbreak Pro will be available beginning September 2 exclusively at Converse.com and select retailers. The Sean Pablo x Paradise One Star Pro will also be available starting August 24 at Converse.com and select retailers.
