Tell me something unique about your creative process
I enjoy writing to production with no drums. It helps me gather inspiration as im not confined to a particular pattern.

What inspired you to make that song?
The desire to be seem.
What’s the most vulnerable you’ve allowed yourself to be when writing/ making music?
Not being as hands on with the production, and allowing my other collaborators to flesh out my sonic ideas for PFABS.
What’s the best/worst experience you’ve had on stage?
Seeing people sing every word of my songs in the crowd.
What is your favourite song to perform?
“Where ya from”.
Which artist/song/album made you want to make music?
Tupac Shakur made me want to make music.
What’s the meaning behind your name?
The “K” is the first letter of my real name. And the forest gives us life, and my music is a reflection of that same sentiment.
If you weren’t making music, what would you be doing instead?
I’d be a historian or a scholar in religious theology.
What’s success to you?
Being able to smile through everything, take care of myself, my family, friends.
What moment in your life/career forced you to change direction?
I didn’t know I could sing, and through mimicking songs and what I’d hear is how I found out. Life hasn’t been the same since.
