Since the late Kenzo Takada resigned from his namesake brand in 1999, there hasn’t been a Japanese designer heading up the iconic brand. That all changed this week with the announcement that NIGO has been named the Artistic Director of Kenzo.

Fashion lovers will need no introduction to NIGO and his influence as the founder of A BATHING APE. Known as the king of streetwear, we can’t wait to see what direction he takes the Japanese fashion house.
