[STYLE] KSUBI TAKES THE REINS WITH NEW WESTERN COLLECTION: “THIS IS NOT A RODEO” 

Fashion’s favourite outlaw, global streetwear brand Ksubi makes its mark on cowboy-core and unapologetically brings the wild west to the streets with its new “This Is Not A Rodeo” capsule collection. The Western-themed collection presents a 21-piece capsule including both womens and mens pieces, and two handcrafted hats.

Designed for rebel’s alike, “This Is Not A Rodeo” brings the vision of a true outlaw to life with new Western inspired silhouettes as well as a country twist to Ksubi favourites. For menswear, Ksubi icons such as the Oh G Jacket, Anti K and Bronko denim styles are adorned with intricate hand-embellished details and cowboy inspired raw-cut applique. Classic Western iconography is given a Ksubi touch allowing recognisable artwork such as the Ksubi skeleton to return from the archives.

Decorative inlay finishings are added to popular Ksubi women’s denim styles such as the Low Rider and Soho. New elevated top-of-body pieces come in an array of silhouettes such as the oversized frontier denim shirt, the slim fit Valentina halter top and the boxy Alabama crop shirt, all enhanced with anti brass hardware and laser etched Western-themed detailing.

The collection offers an extremely limited run of handcrafted hats, bringing together country heritage and modern street style with a Ksubi twist. Created with Australian hatmaker BxmBxm, the Western Hat features a hand-shaped crumpled brim, hand stitched accents and Ksubi’s signature distressing and box cross hardware.

Ksubi’s “This Is Not A Rodeo” collection will be available from 22nd August from KSUBI.com, Ksubi stores in New York, Los Angeles, Miami, Chicago, London, and the newest additions to Ksubi’s global store network Sydney and Melbourne. The collection will also be available at key department stores Saks Fifth Avenue and Neiman Marcus, and selected boutiques globally including Ssense.
