I can draw inspiration from anything going on around me or that inspires creativity.

Which song of yours would you like people to hear first?

All my songs are great songs really, so it’s going to be hard to choose one particular one. But right now if you’re tryna hop on that Blaqbonez wave I’ll say start with my latest single ‘Like Ice Spice’

What inspired you to make that song?

I was scrolling through Instagram and stumbled on some content from Ice Spice’s page. I think she’s a dope creator/ artist and I just started thinking about telling a story in my style with her as the major inspiration for it.

What’s the most vulnerable you’ve allowed yourself to be when writing/making music?

I would say when I was making My debut album ‘Sex Over Love’. I really wanted to show my multifaceted personality as a singer-songwriter and a rapper. I think that project allowed me to be the truest version of myself thus far, it re-defined my artistry and cemented my stand as one of the best hip-hop acts on the continent.

What’s the best/worst experience you’ve had on stage?

The best performance has to be my concert ‘Breaking the Yoke of Love Concert’ last year. I had over five thousand people attend in Lagos, Nigeria and it was just really beautiful to see my fans come out to sing my songs along with me.
