BLAC LABEL’S LABEL TALK RECAP – INSPIRING LFW 25 EVENT

BLAC LABEL’S LABEL TALK RECAP – London Fashion Week always has its glossy highlights, but every so often a moment cuts through the noise. Blac Label’s takeover at BAPE’s Conduit Street flagship was exactly that. This was a space where conversations, culture and fashion collided. From the energy in the room to the brand’s bigger plans for redefining retail, the night felt less like a traditional Fashion Week event and more like a glimpse into where the industry could be heading.

The room had that rare kind of energy: a mix of tastemakers, creatives and industry heads, all leaning in to see what Blac Label was bringing to the table. Panel talks with Madison B, Michael Ekeade, Georgia Jobson, Marcus Poncho, Succi, Yung Rorrii, and Kogzy gave the night real weight. Indeed it was not just surface-level chatter, it was about how fashion connects with bigger conversations around creativity and lifestyle.

Chicken Shop kept things casual with a London twist on the menu, cocktails flowed from the Blac Label bar, and the photo installation quickly turned into the spot for capturing the vibe. As well as that, Guests didn’t just leave with goody bags, they left with a sense of being part of something that’s only just starting.

And that’s the thing: Blac Label is clearly playing the long game. By 2026, they’re planning a three-floor flagship that breaks away from the usual idea of “luxury retail.” Think resale next to independent designers, space for jewellery and watches, and room for up-and-coming brands who don’t normally get these kinds of platforms. It’s ambitious, but judging from this event, it’s also believable.

Names like Ava Hirons, Zoe Baptiste, Omar Nyame, and Renee Downer were in attendance, adding to the sense that Blac Label is already pulling the right crowd. With support from BAPE, Chicken Shop, Peak Moods, and Drip, the night had the kind of collaborative DNA that makes a brand feel authentic rather than forced.

Blac Label didn’t just show up at Fashion Week, it set a tone. This night was less about hype, more about building something meaningful.
