My sound is a mix of melodic. relatable. hopeful. and embodies both happy and sad tones.

Can you share a unique aspect of your creative process?

My approach is a bit distinctive as I merge both singing and rapping in my music. This lets me craft melodies while keeping my voice raw and authentic.

Which song of yours should people listen to first?

I’d suggest starting with ‘Peter Pan’. It gives a good sense of my style.

What sparked the inspiration for that song?

‘Peter Pan’ was inspired by a childhood favourite, ‘Lost Boy’ by Ruth B. I used to listen to it on my mom’s iPod. I sampled it and added my own twist to pay homage and refresh it for a new audience.

When have you been the most vulnerable in your music?

Songs like ‘Found Love’ and ‘Can’t Get It Back’ are where I’ve really opened up. They delve into young love and its complexities, which reflects some of my own experiences.

Could you share your best and worst experiences on stage?

The best moment was definitely performing ‘Highs And Lows’ the day after it was released. Hearing fans singing the lyrics back to me was such a rush and reaffirmed the bond I have with them.

What is your favourite song to perform?

That’s a tough choice between ‘Beautiful Day’ and ‘Peter Pan’. They both get an amazing response from the crowd.

Who inspired you to make music?

KSI has been a huge influence. His energy, versatility, and his journey from diverse careers into music is something I found really relatable, given our shared backgrounds.

How did you come up with your name?

Well, my real name is Prince. I mixed it up a bit by taking out the ‘c’ and ‘e’ and adding a ‘z’ to make it Prinz. It just sounded cooler to me and it’s a nod to my real name.

If you weren’t making music, what would you be doing?

Before music, I was big into Fortnite and football. I was a content creator, streaming games with hopes of going pro, and really into football. If not for music, I’d probably be pursuing those passions.

What does success mean to you?

To me, success is about looking after myself and my loved ones, finding inner peace, and living a lifestyle that I’m comfortable with.

Was there a particular moment that made you change direction in your career?

Actually, yes. When I moved to a new place with spotty WiFi, I had to stop playing Fortnite. That push led me to explore music more seriously, and I’m really glad I made that switch.
