BAPE® BY KIDSUPER MERGE ART AND FASHION TO CO-CREATE ‘A SUPER APE’ [STYLE]:

Japanese streetwear brand BAPE® and fashion designer and artist Colm Dillane, known as KidSuper, come together to co-create BAPE® by KidSuper, a first-of-its-kind collection in BAPE®’s pinnacle collaboration tier, the BAPE® COLLECTIVE. The BAPE® COLLECTIVE gives our partners the unique opportunity to dive deeper into the brand archives and reimagine BAPE® icons and patterns through their own lens. This co-creation merges BAPE® and KidSuper’s values of fearless expression and limitless possibility by bringing the brands’ shared creative vision to life in a WORLD GONE SUPER.

BAPE® and KidSuper join forces to craft a vivid dialogue between fashion and art, pushing streetwear into an entirely new world of expression with the BAPE® by KidSuper collection. Creative exploration is woven into every piece of the BAPE® by KidSuper co-creation, as signature BAPE® designs are reimagined through Colm’s lens to create A Super Ape.

“Fashion and art are about creating worlds where people can dream,” says Colm Dillane. “The best art doesn’t happen in isolation, it’s born from a collective effort—a dialogue between different talents and perspectives.”

The BAPE® by KidSuper co-creation will debut at KidSuper’s Paris Fashion Week show on January 25th, with select styles from the collection featured on the runway. Colm Dillane, the maverick designer behind KidSuper, is taking his boundless creativity to new heights by partnering with renowned artist Daniel Wurtzel for a transcendent showcase of fashion and performance art for the KidSuper Fall/Winter 2025 show, titled From a Place I Have Never Been. This first-of-its-kind co-creation, BAPE® by KidSuper, reimagines iconic BAPE® motifs and designs through KidSuper’s fearless lens. BAPE®’s first appearance

in Paris Fashion Week truly embodies a WORLD GONE SUPER lens, bridging Harajuku, Brooklyn, and Paris.

“As an early pioneer of double brands in Harajuku, we are thrilled to be pushing the boundaries of collaboration yet again. Debuting on the runway, the BAPE® by KidSuper collection brings our iconic codes together to celebrate the ultimate superpower — fearless self-expression,” says BAPE® CEO Mahmoud el Salahy.

The BAPE® by KidSuper co-creation is a full circle moment for Colm Dillane and BAPE®, as early in his career, Dillane would distribute his products to streetwear enthusiasts in line for BAPE® drops by setting up an ironing board to screenprint shirts on the spot. Today, he shifts from screenprinting for the line to launching his own Line.

The collection includes a variety of firsts, reimagining BAPE® signatures through the lens of KidSuper. The BAPE® by KidSuper collection includes outerwear, tops, bottoms, hats, BAPE STATM sneakers, BAPE STATM clogs, accessories and more, showcasing a fusion of BAPE® and KidSuper signature creative elements. The BAPE® by KidSuper collection will be available in Spring 2025 at BAPE® stores and BAPE.com, with prices ranging from $150 – $600 USD.
