A collaboration celebrating contemporary style and cultural heritage, featuring the Chuck 70 and De Luxe Squared.
Daily Paper and Converse come together united by their shared values of creativity, inclusivity, and belonging. As symbols of self-expression, both brands uplift their communities by celebrating cultural diversity through art, fashion, and meaningful collaborations. The partnership comes to life through the Colours of Independence capsule collection, which delivers unique iterations of the Chuck 70, Chuck 70 De Luxe Squared, and limited-edition apparel.
A Celebration of IndependenceInspired by global movements for liberation and cultural pride, the collection is anchored by quilted patterns, embroidered detailing, and Pan-African colors to symbolize freedom and unity.
The Chuck 70 and De Luxe Squared
The Chuck 70 and Chuck 70 De Luxe Squared feature black uppers with vibrant red, yellow, and green accents. Decorative stitching on the Chuck 70 includes an all-over shield logo and colourful details, while the Squared creates a unique future-classic aesthetic through bold angles.
Additional heritage elements include colourful laces and custom Chuck Taylor ankle patches, license plates, and outsoles, seamlessly combining Converse and Daily Paper DNA.
Limited-Edition Apparel Pieces
Key details like the custom Chuck patches and collection colours carry over onto six limited-edition apparel pieces. Elevated comfort is delivered through a full-zip fleece hoodie, Gold Standard tee and wide-leg pant, while fashion and functionality are combined in the Malden Liner jacket, cropped shirt, and cargo skirt.
The Malden liner jacket features an all-over quilted pattern, while the skirt is made with an open seam slit and welt pockets on the side and back.

The new styles drop on Tuesday 1st October at 11AM UK Time / 12PM CET online and in stores acrossDaily Paper’s flagship stores in Amsterdam, London, and New York. The collection will also be available at Converse.com and select global retailers on October 1st.
