DIESEL❤VES TIMBERLAND CAPSULE LAUNCH – Two competitors. One goal. DIESELVES TIMBERLAND unites two heritage brands for a one-of-a-kind capsule 

DIESELVES TIMBERLAND is the second chapter of the DIESELVES program, an ongoing call-to-action for fellow brands — typically considered competitors — to share existing materials, manufacturing, and creative resources. The project was launched in December 2023, with the first collaboration, DIESELVES LEE, debuting in March 2024. This initiative takes a purposeful approach to the cult of brand partnerships, applying collective creativity to address the perennial problem of overproduction.

Diesel, a giant of the denim industry, and Timberland, a pioneer of crafted, weather-ready style, are two brands that sit at the intersection of heritage and culture. Together, they channel their shared values of quality, functionality, individuality, and community into a collection of shirts available in six color ways fully constructed from fabric sourced from both brands’ respective unsold stock. One half Timberland, one half Diesel, each style is crafted from a Diesel denim shirt on the front and a Timberland plaid flannel on the back, or vice-versa. 

“Timberland is thrilled to take part in the DIESELVES project,” said Maisie Willoughby, chief marketing officer for Timberland. “Sustainability has long been a priority for our brand. We know our products have an impact on the environment, and this project helps us give overstock garments a second life in a unique and creative style expression.”

DIESELVES TIMBERLAND reflects the willingness of the fashion industry to work together to create a better future.

Two industry leaders are joining forces to tackle overconsumption and create something meaningful and beautiful together. The will to empower change through a call-to-action,” said Glenn Martens, creative director for Diesel and the creator of DIESELVES program.

The limited-edition capsule DIESELVES TIMBERLAND launches globally Jan. 22 and will be sold in select Diesel and Timberland stores, as well as on each brand’s websites. Suggested retail price for the shirt is 250 Euros.
