[STYLE] A BATHING APE® AND BORED APE YACHT CLUB UNVEIL THEIR SECOND COLLABORATION
A BATHING APE® (BAPE®) and Bored Ape Yacht Club (BAYC) are thrilled to announce their Season 2 collaboration, releasing in-store at BAPE STORE® London on September 28.
This collection arrives just in time for Apefest, BAYC’s annual Web3 gathering in Lisbon from October 18-20, 2024.
Celebrating the 20th anniversary of the BAPE® SHARK FULL ZIP HOODIE, the new SHARK STA will be the highlight of the upcoming collaboration with BAYC. Inspired by the attitude of the hoodie, the SHARK STA is a bold and unique product designed for life in forward motion. Constructed from premium materials, the design features distinctive elements inspired by the namesake shark. Notably, the sneaker features a full shark tooth overlay made from glow-in-the-dark microfibre and reflective fibre, along with the BAPE STA logo in TPU on the outsole.
Each colourway is limited to 1,000 pairs, making them a coveted addition to any collection. The GREEN/KHAKI colourway is exclusive to the BAYC community, while the BLUE/GREY colourway will be available online at uk.bape.com and in-store at BAPE STORE® London. Each pair will be individually numbered, creating a unique one-of-one experience for customers. The BAPE® x BAYC SHARK STA will be released on October 12.
The BAPE® x BAYC Season 2 drop also features a range of apparel and accessories, embodying the spirit of a “Bored Ape Beach Club.” The complete collection includes college and resort tees, Hawaiian and polo shirts, a lightweight jacket, zip-up hoodies, water shorts, furry slides, sunglasses, towel, and a BABY MILO® figurine.

In a nod to the BAYC community, Bored Brewing Company, an MBA-founded (Made By Apes) beverage distributor, is also featured. A limited edition “Bored Ape Beer” will be available in the BAYC store. Bored Brewing is one of many independent brands stewarded by MBA, Yuga Labs’ license and platform built to verify, support, and amplify holder-made brands and products that use BAYC and MAYC NFTs.
Exclusive items for the BAYC community will be available through a token-gated purchase experience at https://boredapeyachtclub.store/ starting September 14. The exclusive collection will launch for BAPETAVERSE members online from September 28. On October 12, BAPE® x BAYC SHARK STA will release in-store at BAPE STORE® London and online at UK.BAPE.COM, as well as for the BAYC and BAPETAVERSE communities, allowing the public to access this exciting collaboration.
