[STYLE] JJJJOUND AND VANS PARTNER FOR THIRD TIME WITH COLLECTION FEATURING SUBTLE UPDATES TO CLASSIC ICONS

Drawing inspiration from traditional French court footwear, JJJJound and Vans debut their third collaboration this month. With an emphasis on meticulously remastering three classic Vans models, JJJJound’s goal was to offer footwear staples that can easily integrate into a subtle uniform.

Shot by Los Angeles based photographer Justin Chung, the campaign celebrates the remarkable and stylish individuals of notable restaurants in the vibrant city of Montreal. Through this initiative, JJJJound and Vans seek to inspire a greater recognition of the human element within the hospitality industry and promote a culture of respect and gratitude towards all those involved. The JJJJound and Vans collaboration will be available to shop on JJJJound.com at 12pm EST on July 20, followed by a global release on Vans.eu/vault and select Vans retail partners on July 28.

The JJJJound and Vans footwear collection includes:

Authentic VLT LX

Originally called the Vans #44, the Authentic became a cult classic for skaters in the 1970’s. JJJJound has reinterpreted this model with a softer material composed of fine organic cotton seen throughout the collection.

The minimal branding consists of the JJJJound signature woven beige label reworked to be dual branded. Features include metal eyelets and lace aglets, rounded laces, and an off tone sole unit.
• Heritage low-top silhouette shoe

• Lace-up closure
• Sturdy canvas uppers
• Signature rubber waffle outsoles • Metal eyelet lace rows

Classic Slip-On VLT LX

Originally known as Vans Style #98, the Classic Slip-On quickly found its place in the budding skate and BMX scene of the 1970s. JJJJound and Vans reconfigured it to have the same organic cotton while removing the material backing to give it an unstructured silhouette.

The minimal branding consists of JJJJound’s signature woven beige label re-worked to be dual branded. Features off white elastic and off tone sole unit.
• Low profile textile uppers
• Supportive padded collars

• Elastic side accents
• Signature rubber waffle outsoles

Sk8-Mid VLT LX

Originally known as Vans Style #83, the Sk8-Mid evolved from the beloved Sk8-Hi and become a new icon for skateboarding in the ‘90s. JJJJound reinterpreted the mid-top to incorporate a fine organic cotton and suede upper build.

The minimal branding consists of JJJJound’s signature woven beige label on the right shoe. The silhouette features a white organic cotton and suede upper, full suede Sidestripe, leather lining and an antique outsole matching the other two models.

• Canvas and suede uppers • Padded collars
• Rubber waffle outsoles

The JJJJound and Vans collection will be available to shop on JJJJound.com at 12pm EST on July 20, followed by a global release on Vans.co.uk and select Vans retail partners on July 28. For more information, please visit Vans.co.uk/vault.
