Billed as “a collaboration 10,000 years in the making,” Palace liken their vivid and functional take on the MADE in UK 991 to the early humans’ quest for fire.
The concept has a double meaning, as the quest for fire not only suggest the urge to tame the forces of nature, but also provides a winking reference to the discerning sneaker fan’s never-ending hunt for superior designs.
