Japanese brand AMBUSH® is best known for its punk-infused, luxury-meets-streetwear approach to fashion. Since starting in 2008, the Tokyo-based label has gained notoriety through its bold vision & cutting-edge perspective on design. The brand’s idiosyncratic style has led to commissions & collaborations with an illustrious list spanning fashion icons to European Luxury Houses and American Streetwear brands. Building off a first collaborative effort from last year, Levi’s® & AMBUSH® return with a new moto-inspired collection for Spring/Summer 2023.

The first instalment of the Levi’s® x AMBUSH® collaboration was all about exploring Levi’s® heritage through an AMBUSH® lens. For Spring/Summer 2023, the second instalment dives further into AMBUSH’s unique stylistic approach using Levi’s® denim as a canvas. Composed of two gender-neutral pieces, the new collection features a denim jacket plus matching jeans and draws influence from motorcycle & biker culture.

First up is the Levi’s® x AMBUSH® Biker Jacket. Inspired by classic café racer moto jackets, it comes in a mid-indigo wash, and features a stand-up style collar with a snap-button latch, two chest pockets, two side pockets, and a No. 8 zip-front closure with a chunky AMBUSH zipper pull. The front of the jacket includes shadow patches on the chest & sleeves, a look achieved by adding patches when the denim is raw & removing them after the washing process. The back of the jacket features a waist panel with accordion detailing, along with a special edition co-branded back patch in black bearing the Levi’s® Two Horse Pull & AMBUSH® logos.

The second piece from the collection is the Levi’s® x AMBUSH® Biker Jean, a slim straight fit which also comes in a mid-indigo wash to match the jacket. It features front knee panel detailing plus an exposed No. 5 zipper front closure & branded AMBUSH® zipper pull. The back of the jean includes shadow pocket detailing, achieved through the same washing process as the patches on the jacket, along with a black Levi’s® Tab on the back pocket and special edition back patch bearing the Levi’s® Two Horse Pull & AMBUSH® logos.

The Levi’s® x AMBUSH® collection launched worldwide on January 12th, 2023.
