[STYLE] CONVERSE X A-COLD-WALL* INTRODUCE ALL-BLACK CHUCK 70 GEO FORMA

Bold apparel collection accompanies new take on the futuristic, utilitarian boot; Expressed via directorial film debut of creative partner, Yagamoto.

Blending utilitarian style cues with brutalist design and seasonal function, the original Chuck 70 Geo Forma boot from Converse and A-COLD-WALL* returns in all black, accompanied by a broad, cold-weather collection of apparel.

The Chuck 70 Geo Forma explores the innate artistry of the Chuck 70, but through a futuristic, geometric lens—applying Samuel Ross’ signature avant-garde design cues while embracing modern concepts of utility. Ross applies acute attention to the application of the technical fabrics in the Geo Forma, including a stretch bootie upper constructed to hug the foot, a polyester-spandex-ripstop shroud laminated on the lower bootie, and an elastic collar for ease-of-entry.

Accompanying the release of the black and Iron Gray Chuck 70 Geo Forma is a future-forward apparel and accessories collection comprised of a winter-ready puffer jacket and dry bag in black, as well as a crewneck, long sleeve tee, and sweatpants offered in both Tannin and Onyx. A cap, which includes a removable gaiter for protection from the elements, is also included and will be available in Tannin.

Converse and A-COLD-WALL* collaborated with Abdourahman Njie, the London-based multidisciplinary artist known as Yagamoto, to interpret this collection. Via his directorial debut, his first film brings this capsule’s key collection pieces to life within their natural environment to tell a tale of boldness and bravery through the use of movement and space.

The Converse x A-COLD-WALL* capsule commercializes at A-COLD-WALL* on November 3, followed by Converse on November 7.
