Shop with purpose this Christmas, thanks to the Lone Design Club and The Crown Estate…
In partnership with The Crown Estate, this December Lone Design Club will bring the Season Of Wonder to London’s Jermyn Street. An immersive pop-up store with gifts, events and experiences full of holiday spirit and delight, highlighting sustainability-conscious shopping heading into the festive season.
Guests to the LDC X The Crown Estate, Season of Wonder pop-up store will be treated to an array of products from independent and sustainability-conscious brands. With a focus on quality, handmade craftsmanship across lifestyle and homeware items, unique personalised accessories and cosy winter knits for all, and the launch of LDC’s debut men’s department, featuring cutting-edge menswear trends and design.
The free in-store events calendar will kick off with an opening night celebration featuring complimentary festive red berry cocktails from Ciroc Vodka and a live performance by Shelf Lives. Throughout the month, we will host intimate wreath-making workshops, whiskey-tasting masterclasses and drinks parties – plus festive concierge shopping evenings to lend a helping hand to those looking for the perfect something for that special someone.
Christmas is so much more than a day; it’s about a million little moments of wonder, and we want to share this special time with the whole community. For those looking for a moment of calm during their festive shop, the store will feature a chill-out pod, designed as a quiet space to catch your breath and will host designated quiet shopping times across the month.
Also, in the seasonal spirit of goodwill, the store will have multiple touchpoints to engage with charitable donations. With options to make a small donation at purchase or buy a stocking filler from our festive gumball machine – with all funds going to The Felix Project. Plus, LDC’s first-ever very secret Santa inviting our guests to bring in small wrapped gifts (T&;C’s apply); to be shared and swapped).
LDC and The Crown Estate will continue their support of sustainability-focused retail through their partnership with Compare Ethics to verify the work done so far by the brands involved and show their genuine commitment to improving their impact. The store pillars will focus on Environmental Impact: Sustainability in Materials and Production, Ethical + Social and Due Diligence. You can see more on these pillars here.
