Japanese streetwear brand Supplier has launched their racing capsule in collaboration with The TCR Japan Touring Car Series.
Shot on location at the Fuji Speedway in the foothills of Mount Fuji, the capsule collection comprises a Racing Suit inspired jacket and patch jeans, Chequered Flag knits, hoodie and Racing Crew, reimagining the Supplier logo and branding through a motor team racing patch lens. The repurposing and reimagining of the Supplier logo in-line with microtrends and collaborations is central to the brand’s visual playful, dynamic, pop-culture inspired identity.
Supplier launched as a street-contemporary select store in Shibuya, Tokyo in 2018, curating up-and-coming streetwear brands from across the globe before launching their in-house range in 2020 to cater to customer demand not met in the street-contemporary space. Supplier was founded on the principle of reacting to fast-changing and unpredictable Gen-Z consumer trends with a rapid drop schedule that is always innovative, present, fast-paced, and exciting.
This capsule is launched in anticipation of the brand’s first full internationally available Autumn/Winter collection dropping at the start of November.
