What five words define your sound? 

My truth at different BPMs.

Tell me something unique about your creative process 

I could start writing at any moment, I don’t know why; if I’m walking, watching tv, eating food, in bed, sometimes I’ll just get a random crazy four bar come into my head and then it’s go time from there.

Which song of yours would you like people to hear first? 

‘Toxic’ ft Muggy Mugzz

What inspired you to make that song? 

I was vibing last summer in the studio and my boy said to me, “bro I need to hear you on this 50 Cent type beat, please! Puff your chest on this one bro it will be crazy.” My brother Muggy Muggles, I’ve known for a while, had been all over those kinda beats at that time so it just made sense to connect, big up Muggy Muggz and 50 cent as well of course.

What’s the most vulnerable you’ve allowed yourself to be when writing/making music? 

As vulnerable as it gets!! For a long time I felt like the booth was my only escape and a place where I could talk to myself so I am fully open and free there and in my music, thankfully God blessed me enough that people can enjoy it and relate too it and tell me I speak on their behalves.

What’s the best/worst experience you’ve had on stage? 

Up there for best has gotta be performing with my brothers A1 x J1 at Wireless summer 2022. That whole day till now is just mad surreal to even look back, it was like a big full circle moment.

For worst I can’t think of a specific time but I’ve had my mic cut out on stage at a show before unfortunately, of course small crowds sometimes too.

What is your favourite song to perform? 

‘Change’ – AdzMilli because it is the most known out of all my releases.

Which artist/song/album made you want to make music? 

Kanye West – ‘Graduation’

But I pick stuff from everyone and listen to absolutely everything to see what I can learn and get from it.

What’s the meaning behind your name? 

I’ve got two older brothers that had nicknames of S-Milli and DeejMilli in there younger days so I just inherited it as I grew up and ‘Adz’ came from my first name Ade.

If you weren’t making music, what would you be doing instead? 

Just thank God with us that I’m making music…but I still probably would’ve tried going to Uni though.

What’s success to you? 

Financial stability for me and my family without comprising my morals.

What moment in your life/career forced you to change direction? 

I had a point in my career when I was too concerned with impressing other people and their opinions as opposed to doing what I wanted to do and stepping into my light.
