The eclectic duo known as DRAMA are back in a big way with new single ‘Forever’s Gone’. Consisting of producer Na’el and singer Via Rosa, the Chicago based artists blend a variety of sounds into one fluid unit that continues to emphasise the pair’s love for down-tempo dance with a soulful touch.
On new single ‘Forever’s Gone’, the follow-up to ‘Walk Away’, DRAMA double down on their influences for an amazing piece of music. Na’el fuses R&B with house music in a masterful manner, while Rosa croons her heart out to make for an amazing combination.
On forming the group with Na’el in 2015, Rosa has said she never considered the possibility of making dance music, and that the group represents uncharted territory for both her and her fellow group member: “I didn’t think I would because I don’t dance, but music is music, as long as it’s good, I’m gonna write to it.” Her sentiments are shared by Na’el, who says: “For the first time in my life, I feel like I’m making music I’ve always wanted to make. My approach to this project is extremely different. I’m just having fun with it.”
