MY YOUTH LISTENING TO NICHE GRUNGE BANDS AND MY LOVE OF HORROR MOVIES
What’s the most vulnerable you’ve allowed yourself to be when writing/making music?
ITS ALWAYS VULNERABLE BECAUSE I RECORD EVERYTHING IN HOUSE AND NEVER TRULY KNOW HOW THE FANS WILL PERCEIVE IT
What’s the best/worst experience you’ve had on stage?
WORST: EVERY SHOW I DID TO START MY CAREER IN FRONT OF 10 PEOPLE WHO WOULD JUST STARE BLANKLY AT ME WHILE THE SOUND SYSTEM WAS ALWAYS BLOWN OUT. BEST: FIRST PARIS SHOW IN DECEMBER THAT HAD THE BEST LIGHTING COMPANY IN FRANCE WORKING IT… I’M VERY BIG INTO THE FULL IMMERSION OF A SHOW

‘VETTE SUM’, IT JUST SEEMS TO BE THE ONE. NO MATTER WHERE I GO THEY KNOW ALL THE LYRICS TO IT

I WISH I HAD A GOOD NAME ORIGIN STORY BUT REALLY IT JUST CAME AS A JOKE THAT STUCK WITH ME

DIRECTING INDIE HORROR FILMS OR TRYING TO BE A SPORTS COLOUR COMMENTATOR

BEING ABLE TO LIVE COMFORTABLY OFF SOMETHING YOU TRULY LOVE
What moment in your life/career forced you to change direction?
MY SISTER PASSING AWAY ALMOST TWO YEARS AGO. I GREW UP GOING TO EMO SHOWS WITH HER IN THE EARLY 2000s JUST TRYING TO KEEP HER MEMORY ALIVE BY CREATING THINGS I THINK SHE WOULD HAVE ENJOYED
