Get familiar…
What five words define your sound?
Genre Bending, Stylish, Provocative, Timeless.
Tell me something unique about your creative process.
I write, record and mix all of my music by myself in a barn
Which song of yours would you like people to hear first?
‘Stupid Love’. Still probably my favourite song I’ve put out and shows the most sides of me as an artist on one song.
What inspired you to make that song?
Really and truly, I was just trying to find my sound. The instrumental was one of the best I’ve heard in a long time so as soon as Sphero and Pyro played it to me, I got straight to work.
What’s the most vulnerable you’ve allowed yourself to be when writing/making music?
I’ve got a song called ‘Losing You’ that I wrote about loss and addiction which I performed at my aunt’s funeral.
What’s the best/worst experience you’ve had on stage?
I’ve only been on a stage about five times, the best moment was coming out with Nafe Smallz at KOKO for my first ever performance.
What is your favourite song to perform?
My ‘Next Up’ is so fun to perform, I also do a cover of ‘Congratulations’ by Post Malone in my sets which I love.
Which artist/song/album made you want to make music?
The first time I listened to ‘NWTS’ by Drake, I knew I wanted to be an artist.
What’s the meaning behind your name?
There’s no meaning really, it’s more of a manifestation thing, I’m a big believer of speaking things into existence, so what better way to do it than with me name.
If you weren’t making music, what would you be doing instead?
Really and truly i probably wouldn’t be here, music has saved me more times than I can count.
What’s success to you?
Doing what I love, being happy doing it and doing it for a living.
What moment in your life/career forced you to change direction?
I was working 9-5 in a warehouse in 2021 and decided to quit and go full time music, no matter how broke I would be and it paid off.
