[STYLE] TIMBERLAND MARK THE ICONIC CAMPAIGN WITH AN EXHIBITION DURING LONDON FASHION WEEK

SLAWN AND JAMIE MORGAN COLLABORATE WITH TIMBERLAND TO LAUNCH ‘ICONIC’ CAMPAIGN AT EXHIBITION IN SOHO DURING LONDON FASHION WEEK

Timberland is pleased to announce the opening of a special pop-up exhibition in Soho on 17th September 2024. In partnership with the face of the Timberland ‘ICONIC’ campaign and Nigerian artist, SLAWN, as well as renowned British style photographer, Jamie Morgan, who captured the campaign.

Diving into SLAWN’s journey from the seed of an idea to final execution of his work. On display will be eight images by Jamie Morgan that have been re-imagined by the artist, using these as a physical canvas and overlaying them with his provocative style, to showcase his unique perspective on the ‘ICONIC’ campaign.

The two floored gallery will feature the artwork alongside projections, giving the audience a behind-the-scenes look into the intimate and unique world of SLAWN and his creative process.

Collaborating with Slawn is intriguing. I love his attitude to art and to life. His work is inspired by iconic images and with his punk attitude I think he creates work that is provoking and dynamic! I’m really interested to see what he does with my images as they are creatively opposite to his style in that my work for Timberland is graphic, hard edged black and white and his work is more wild freestyle, so this should be an interesting  collab!” said Jamie Morgan.

This shoot with Timberland was different. You get to see all of me. Jamie Morgan’s a sick photographer so I’m happy to be working with him.” said SLAWN.

This moment will mark the arrival of the Timberland ‘ICONIC’ campaign which celebrates what it means to be original, launching globally on 12th September. SLAWN faces the campaign as someone who has carved his own way into the art world and has quickly earned icon status. The campaign imagery was shot by celebrated fashion photographer, Jamie Morgan who has visually manifested the diversity and character of British style culture for over 40 years.
