Two of Reggae music’s brightest stars, Samory I and Mortimer spoke to Viper Magazine for this interview about roots, soundsystem culture and Jamaica’s influence on global music.
The pair also discuss their mutual respect for each other following a collaboration on Samory I’s ‘Strength’ album.
Samory I’s album, ‘Strength’ featuring Capleton, Lila Iké and more, was named in Rolling Stone Magazine’s Best Albums of 2023 list.
Mortimer is a notable name in the Reggae scene since featuring on Protoje’s ‘Protection’ in 2015, stay tuned for his upcoming album.
