For Autumn/Winter 2022 CAT Footwear sees an expansion of the RePowered collection, partnering with Orienteer Magazine to introduce a brand-new Deviant style and a renewed Reactor offering where minimalist contrasts combine with modernised materials while keeping true to the brand’s industrial heritage.

Providing a visual representation of Caterpillar’s rich heritage in shaping urban life, Orienteer showcases the striking new styles across a 90’s nostalgia-inspired campaign featuring three friends as they prepare for the night ahead. Referencing the brand’s history in British rave culture where iconic CAT Footwear styles were paramount on the scene keeping the wearer’s feet protected all night long. The campaign captures the feeling of getting ready, journeying through nature to arrive at a secret venue with a fresh take on CAT Footwear’s RePowered range.

The introduction of the Deviant, a new offering from RePowered takes design inspiration from CAT Footwear’s archives providing a shoe / sandal hybrid capable of street looks and the great outdoors. An over-manufactured design allowing for unrivalled traction utilises a soft breathable mesh and foam footbed combined with strobel construction to allow for complete comfort and rigid sole support.

The off-road inspired Reactor continues the colour-blocking stylistic vision featuring CAT Footwear’s rubberised sole unit and overbuilt chunky aesthetic. Multi-textured uppers of leather and mesh are layered with cut out panelling including a nod to the outdoors with bungee style lacing. Maintaining supercharged design detail the Reactor’s graphic panelling, durable outsole and advanced sole unit make the style one of CAT Footwear’s most iconic trainer styles to date.

Merging streetwear credentials with a celebration of CAT Footwear’s rich workwear DNA becomes evident with the construction of the two styles, both available in all black or with juxtaposed deep orange and black perfect for urban autumnal life.
