This season, the answer comes through Northfarer, the latest interpretation of the anorak according to Napapijri’s iconic aesthetic. Its hyper-structured silhouette and double-zip neck are directly inspired by the outline of Mont Blanc, while the essential lines elevate this outerwear classic cut to a sleek urban jacket made in premium, CORDURA® UltraLite Fabric for all-around performance. It is precisely in this choice of material that Napapijri’s heritage and future meet thanks to our commitment to innovation. Whereas a heavy-duty CORDURA® was chosen in 1990 as the fabric for our first jacket, the Skidoo, in 2022 we renew our partnership with this giant of material innovation by building Northfarer with a lighter, yet equally abrasion resistant, version of their trademark material. Argu Secilmis, VP Product & Marketing at Napapijri describes this joint effort as the “most genuine form of material expression we could choose to launch Northfarer in our mainline. Not only is its shape an homage to our origins, but its fabric is part of the history of outerwear that we have been weaving since 1990 alongside CORDURA®.
