A monumental affix of influential fashion design, NYC’s Supreme collaborates with Japan’s ingenious and iconic designer, Yohji Yamamoto for a stand-out collection included in Supreme’s Fall/Winter drop 4 release.

The illustrious collaboration is a seamless amalgamation of Supreme & Yohji Yamamoto’s aesthetic appeal to youth culture and plays as a prominent chapter for Supreme’s ongoing cultural movement. The collaboration is a fusion of Yohji Yamamato’s intricate and unique approach to fashion design, championing the designer’s rebellious spirit and masterful craftsmanship through the lens and body of Supreme’s signature New York story and reckless skate lifestyle.

The Supreme x Yohji Yamamoto collection straddles across a gallery of statement pieces for the FW season, and pays homage to drawing artist Yuuka Asakura, art director/designer Peter Saville and unveils spray-painted graphics from artist Sancheeto – the collection offers graphics from those masterful artists on a variety of pieces launching on Supreme’s website on the 17th September for global release. The original artworks by SancheetoPeter Saville and Yuuka Asakura are embraced on premium leatherwork jackets, khaki and jet black fishtail parka’s, suave tailored blazers, floral-popping knitwear, staple sweaters, graphic emblazoned hoodies, seasonally appropriate puffa-down jackets and a 5-series t-shirt run finished with a winter-warm beanie.

The collaborative collection gives emphasis to Yohji Yamamoto’s design legacy, a progressive career dedicated to surpassing design norms and conquering innovation. The surprising link-up of great minds can be expected to be one of the year’s most anticipated collaborations and releases for Supreme. This one for the lovers of Fashion, the lover’s of culture, the individuals who continue to draw inspiration from both brands.

The official Supreme x Yohji Yamamato FW20 Collection will be available from Sept 17th on www.supremenewyork.com
