Currently taking place at the Institute of Contemporary Art Boston, take a look at Virgil Abloh’s “Figures Of Speech” installation… Includes architecture from OMA*AMO, this immersive experience provides insight into both Abloh’s creative process and his career development. It also includes iconic statement pieces like the tongue-in-cheek black rug from his Off-White showroom in Paris, bearing the disdainful comment a critic once made about Abloh: ““It’s highly possible that Pyrex simply bought a bunch of Rugby flannels, slapped ‘PYREX 23’ on the back, and resold them for an astonishing mark-up of 700%.” Check out the images from the exhibition below, which
On Friday Dior Men’s debuted the Spring Summer 2022 collaboration with Travis Scott at Paris Fashion Week. Displaying all the class and elegance we expect of Dior, this line boasts an additional edge thanks to the Cactus Jack motifs embellished on jumpers and tees. Another incredible touch is the re-working of the classic Dior Oblique pattern, spelling out the word “Jack.” This is the latest of many notable collaborations for Scott, following Nike and McDonalds recently. He spoke to WWD about this, and the experience working with Dior, saying “High-end, and even couture, has always even been in my metaverse
We’ve got a lot of love for Nike’s Air Classic More Uptempo shoe, especially this new stunner… The latest silhouette in the stash comes complete with visuals from the iconic Japanese artist, Utagawa Kuniyoshi. Famed for his work with ukiyo-e style woodblock prints and paintings in the 19th century, the Kuniyoshi artwork featured is, “Takiyasha the Witch and the Skeleton Specter.“ Trainers don’t get much more 90’s than this, which was made popular by Chicago Bulls legend Scottie Pippen and has been seen countless times on the feet of style queen, Rihanna. Look out for a release date for these, set to be priced around
Here’s the first look at the Magnus Walker-inspired Nike SB Dunk High… Inspired by super car collector and former fashion designer, Magnus Walker’s 1971 Porsche 911 T “277,, a customised beauty that shines as the jewel in his collection. The shoe follows two previous Nike SB, Porsche-themed 2021 designs, the “Gulf” and the “Pink Pig”, both takes on the SB Dunk Low. While there’s currently no release details or pricing information, the SB Dunk High boasts a unique, vintage look that will be in high demand amongst collectors. We’re lusting after the Nike Air Total Max Uptempo in the White/Green colourway… With a predominantly white colour way, these boast a fresh take on the traditional 1997 silhouette. Brief flashes of green are the only other colour details on the shoe, giving it a clean aesthetic perfect for Spring Summer. Crafted from full-grain leather, the shoe also boasts a classic “AIR” heel insert and green nike tick embellished with white stitching. With no release date on the horizon, stay tuned to the Nike site, where the Nike Air Total Max Uptempo is expected to retail at $170.
Supreme have added their own twist to Nike’s Air Max Goadome, dropping this week in red and black debossed snakeskin colourways. Set for release on the Supreme website tomorrow, January 14th, at 11am EST and in Japan on January 6th, at 11am JST. What’s your opinion on the latest additions to the iconic Supreme x Nike link-up?

COMME des GARÇONS’ deconstructed Air Force 1 Mid could be yours… It wouldn’t be a COMME des GARÇONS show in Paris without Rei Kawakubo debuting a new Nike collaboration, would it? The Japanese designer did just that on their FW2020 runway. Unveiling a deconstructed Air Force 1 Mid, dripped in crafted premium leather, the brand once again proved their signature sensibilities match perfectly with Nike’s trainer silhouettes. Their collaboration comes in two classic colour ways: black and an off-white/cream. CDG’s staple branding finds itself stamped on the velcro strap and insole, along with Nike’s infamous tick too. Naming the FW20
Arguably the one, true collaboration that always hits hardest of all. It’s possibly the admix of cultural references provided by both two major names held responsible, Supreme NYC & Nike. For fall 2020, Nike team up with its co-influencers of the street, Supreme NYC for a premium array of slick outwear and retro-inspired patterns. The two brands reign supreme by making one of the most anticipated releases of the year and have respectively pulled out all the stops.
