THE STYLE REGISTER VOL. 08: FRAGMENT OUTERWEAR, NORMSKI’S ARCHIVE AND JOE COOL TIMBS

THE STYLE REGISTER VOL. 08 – The drops, collabs and campaigns worth knowing this week.
November has arrived and the wardrobe is changing with it. This week’s register leans into the cold: technical outerwear built for the backcountry, boots reworked in camouflage and corduroy, and faux fur on everything from runners to coats.
There is a strong cultural thread too. A hip hop photographer’s archive lands on footwear, an NBA star fronts a basketball-era reunion, a pop singer leads a party-season campaign, and a London designer turns vintage excess into four new pieces. Here are the 14 drops and moves worth your attention, with where to find each one.
01 / Burton x FRAGMENT
Burton and Hiroshi Fujiwara’s FRAGMENT return for 2026–27, the latest chapter in a 30-year friendship between the brand and the designer. The black-and-white jacket and bib are built for alpine conditions but cut clean enough for the city, which is how Fujiwara has always worn his snowboard kit. Burton’s lightest insulator, a fleece and fleece pants complete the apparel, while two lightweight backpacks join the collaboration for the first time.
Available now at Burton flagship stores, select stockists and burton.com.
02 / adidas x BAPE
adidas and BAPE reunite for a collection rooted in the basketball golden era of the late ’90s and early 2000s, with NBA star Jalen Williams fronting the campaign. adidas Basketball’s new Crazy Energy+ gets a metallic COLOR CAMO SILVER print, a knitted “World Gone Mad” lace overlay and two sets of laces, while the Adizero Goukana arrives in COLOR CAMO PURPLE mesh, Italian patent leather and gold accents. Apparel includes a black varsity jacket with a chenille “World Gone Mad” back graphic, a reversible purple camo hoodie with a tonal shark face, reversible Adibreak track pants and BABY MILO pieces.
Launches 7 November via the adidas CONFIRMED app, select retailers, BAPE STORE and bape.com.
03 / MALLET x Normski ‘Got Soul’
Normski picked up a camera professionally at 17, shooting the Camden community around him before documenting the UK’s emerging hip hop scene. His archive runs from Public Enemy and Wu-Tang Clan to De La Soul, and the V&A holds nine of his images. For MALLET he reworks two silhouettes: the GRFTR Lite carries a custom houndstooth sole built from his initial, while the Kingsbury’s sole uses a reworked portrait of him. Orange, his favourite colour, runs throughout as a nod to the Roland 808, and a run of T-shirts is printed with photographs from his archive.
Available now via MALLET. Normski also features in Beyond the Streets at Saatchi Gallery from 11 November.
04 / A COLD WALL x Joshua Bullen
A COLD WALL has appointed Joshua Bullen as its first Designer in Residence. Bullen spent more than a decade as Head of Design at Stone Island before serving as Design Director of Menswear at Givenchy and Design Director at Kenzo. He will bring his own reading of the brand’s codes, built around its ethos of “refined in form, purposeful in function”, as the label also drops its old A-COLD-WALL* styling for a cleaner A COLD WALL.
Bullen’s first collection debuts in Paris for AW27.
05 / Timberland x Peanuts
Snoopy arrives as Joe Cool for Timberland’s holiday capsule, alongside his sidekick Woodstock. The hero is the 6-Inch Premium Waterproof Boot in black nubuck, finished with bold red and white stitching, a second pair of laces and three collaboration hangtags, in men’s, women’s and junior sizes. Around it sit a garment-dyed graphic crewneck, two organic cotton tees, a three-pack of socks and a beanie.
Available now worldwide at timberland.com, Timberland stores and select stockists. US prices run from $24 to $250.
06 / Maharishi x SOREL ‘Daystorm Horizon Zip GTX’
Hardy Blechman’s Maharishi has spent three decades turning military design to peaceful use, and SOREL’s all-weather boot is its latest canvas. The Daystorm Horizon keeps its GORE-TEX protection and signature five-finger rubber toe cap, then gains an army-green canvas upper, Bonsai Tigerstripe camo on the tongue, military lacing, a removable zip shroud and a debossed leather patch.
Available now at sorelfootwear.co.uk.
07 / amulet x OTW by Vans Authentic ‘An Instinct for Elsewhere’
Munich label amulet, which runs out of its own independent café, reimagines the Vans Authentic as an antidote to everyday noise. Chocolate corduroy wraps the quarters, the forest-green suede toe is embossed with droplet and moss textures, and soft pink picks out the foxing stripe, aglets and the amulet eye on the insole. It comes with a rope lace and a flat cotton lace, packed in a revival of Vans’ late-’70s single-sheet shoebox, recoloured in pale pink and off-white.
Launches 5 November at 10pm CET as a strictly limited Friends & Family release, with a wider drop possible later.
08 / Topshop ‘Dressed for the Moment’ ft. Chloe Qisha
Topshop opens party season with a more-is-more November collection, fronted by singer-songwriter Chloe Qisha and her 80s-tinged pop style. Fluid satin, high-shine sequins, fringing and leopard, zebra and Bambi-inspired prints set the tone. Hero pieces include a lime sequin maxi dress (£135), a devoré corset maxi with fringing (£95), a white faux fur coat (£95) and a zebra-print leather clutch (£48). The campaign was shot by Danielle Neu, directed by Sonni Rossi and styled by Vincent Pons, with creative direction from Talia Byre.
Available now at topshop.com, priced £30 to £175.
09 / Joshua Samuels ‘Excessary Collection’
The London designer named this drop after a word of his own, somewhere between excess and necessary. With more clothing in the world than anyone needs, Joshua Samuels builds from vintage instead of new fabric. Three zip-up hoodies become the Triple Hood, three shirts become the Triple Shirt with three collars, and the Four Flannel Tee wraps a vintage graphic tee in six panels cut from four flannels. The offcuts become a flannel edition of his Funny Fam Jeans.
Available now, made to order by hand in East London, exclusively at joshua-samuels.com. Each piece is one of a kind.
10 / GARAGE ‘HIGH FREQUENCY’
Montreal-born GARAGE marks its 50th year, and its move into London, with a November campaign built on movement and confidence. Led by Sapphire Desire and high-shine Silver, HIGH FREQUENCY brings together choreographer Todd Williamson and director Aerin Moreno, whose movement-led work spans Tate McRae, Tyla and Madison Beer. The result is a choreographed session starring a room full of dancers.
Available now in store and at garageclothing.com.
11 / Cult Gaia ‘The Holiday Collection’
Cult Gaia’s holiday offering is an ode to time spent alone and to dressing purely for yourself. Hand-beaded Artemis motifs appear in intricate gold embroidery, crystal swirls catch the light on silk, and gilded jacquards give sculptural silhouettes their depth, set against cascading liquid satin. The pieces are designed to be collected and kept long after the season ends.
Available now at cultgaia.com.
12 / New Balance ABZORB 2000 Luxe
Inspired by the running shoes of the 2000s, the ABZORB 2000 Luxe pairs full-length ABZORB cushioning with ABZORB SBS pods for its sculpted sole, under layered uppers. Two new autumn colourways land this week: warm Thunder Brown with Pumpernickel and soft Horizon Grey with Truffle Salt, both made to sit easily with denim and knitwear.
Available now at newbalance.co.uk, £160.
13 / Cat Footwear ‘Power Your Path’
Following its ‘Playing Site’ campaign, Cat Footwear heads to London’s concrete and riverside landscapes for its latest creative. Mud, water and fallen leaves set the scene for candid portraits and movement, shot by Isaac Whitfield with creative direction from SANE Communications. Two styles feature across four colourways: the Grader Lace-to-Toe in black and tan, and the Expedition Hiker in black and brown.
Available now at catfootwear.co.uk and Schuh, online and in selected stores.
14 / Onitsuka Tiger ‘Cosy Styles’
Onitsuka Tiger brings texture to its heritage line-up. The unisex MEXICO 66 PARATY mixes synthetic leather with natural fibres for an easy weekend shoe, while the MEXICO 66 TGRS and HMR PEAK go full faux fur. The HMR PEAK reworks the brand’s 1966 Himalayan Peak trekking shoe as a high-cut silhouette, its rugged sole set against a rich, voluminous pile.
Available now at onitsukatiger.com.
