TDR PAYS HOMAGE TO 1950’S WORKWEAR: You may remember TDR’s debut collection arriving last season, a capsule rife with top-tier textiles, custom detailing and deadstock hardware.

Well, this season the brand returns with a denim-heavy collection that pays tribute to a ’50s era of workwear, one attributed by unusual mends and obscure seams inflicted by hand, frayed repairs and the welcome arrival of top-down-ray fading – premise of fading textile as though it’s been worn in the field, well used, loved and abused.

For SS25, the purpose wasn’t to design garments that look new at first wear – they’ve adopted stories shared by each reference piece, showcasing legitimate vintage wear that would never exist straight off the shopfloor.

Each piece can be considered as an independent collection in its own right, void of messaging or any set direction. Featuring deadstock, no longer available laurel studs and a short-sleeve, more seasonally appropriate version of last season’s best-selling Noragi jacket.
