[NEWS] BE@RBRICK BAPE® MANEKI-NEKO & DARUMA SET

A BATHING APE® and MEDICOM TOY have teamed up for a new joint design, the BE@RBRICK BAPE® Maneki-neko (Black Plated) / Daruma (White Plated) in 100% & 400% (Set of 4).


This design is based on the motifs of the “Maneki-neko” and the “Daruma”, which are traditional Japanese good luck charms.

The “Maneki-neko” is black plated and the “Daruma” is white plated, each of which is wrapped in a BAPE® CAMO.

The “Maneki-neko” features BAPE®’s iconic APE HEAD placed on the elbows and knees, while the “Daruma” has a unique design with an APE HEAD only on the right eye, as it is customary to draw the other eye when a wish is fulfilled.

The “Maneki-neko” and “Daruma” are available in two sizes, 100% (approx. 7 cm tall) and 400% (approx. 28 cm tall), for a total of four figurines. They will be delivered in a special box with “Daigan Jyosei” written in kanji.

The set will be available from July 20th, 2024 (Sat) at BAPE STORE® London on Conduit St., Mayfair or online at uk.bape.com.
