BAPE® CELEBRATES 85 YEARS OF TOM AND JERRY WITH A COLLABORATIVE CAPSULE: A BATHING APE®︎ (BAPE®︎) unveils a special collaboration with the globally renowned animated comedy series Tom and Jerry to celebrate its 85th anniversary in 2025, in partnership with Warner Bros. Discovery Global Consumer Products.
To commemorate the timeless legacy of Tom and Jerry, created in 1940 and beloved across generations, we’ve prepared a limited collection in men’s and kids’ sizes—perfect for parents and children to enjoy together.
The collection features two distinct series: the “Core Art” series, highlighting the current character designs, and the “Vintage Art” series, which pays tribute to the classic animation style of the beloved duo.
The “Core Art” series includes T-shirts, full-zip hoodies, sweatshirts, pouches, and a plush doll set, while the “Vintage Art” series features crewneck sweatshirts and ringer T-shirts with half-rubber prints that accentuate the fabric’s texture, enhancing the vintage feel.
The “Core Art” T-shirts comes in four different designs. One design combines BAPE®︎’s iconic APE HEAD with Tom and Jerry. Another design includes the APE HEAD, Tom, Jerry, the bulldog Spike, and the young mouse Tuffy. Both designs are available in black and white. A third design, the 1ST CAMO T- shirt, showcases bold prints of Tom and Jerry’s faces, with green for Tom and yellow for Jerry. The final design, the College sweatshirt T-shirt, reinterprets BAPE®︎’s COLLEGE logo, featuring the APE HEAD alongside cute graphics of Tom and Jerry. This design is available in a relaxed fit and comes in black, gray, and yellow.
The 1ST CAMO full-zip hoodie is available in both men’s and kids’ sizes. The men’s version features Tom, while the kids’ version features Jerry. When the zipper is fully closed, the faces of Tom and Jerry appear, complete with detailed features like whiskers and ears—perfect for parent-child matching outfits. The 1ST CAMO pouch also showcases the faces of Tom and Jerry, available in two color options: green for Tom and yellow for Jerry.
Additionally, the plush doll set produced by NICI, a renowned plush toy manufacturer, features Tom and Jerry wearing 1ST CAMO COLLEGE hoodies. Each doll has a special 85th-anniversary label on the back of its hoodie.
The ringer T-shirt from the “Vintage Art” series features piping on the collar and cuffs, and comes in two colorways, ivory and black, with classic graphics and the “A BATHING APE®︎” logo printed. The crewneck sweatshirt in this series showcases monochrome illustrations of the APE HEAD, Tom, and Jerry, adding a vintage touch. It is available in black, gray, and yellow.
All items in the collection come with a special collaborative tag to commemorate the 85th anniversary of Tom and Jerry.
This collection will be available on 22nd February, 2025 (Saturday) at A BATHING APE®︎ authorised stores and BAPE.COM.
