[STYLE] NCAPPED TAKE-OVER ‘THE PAWN SHOP’ FOR HOME-TOWN POP-UP STORE
2022 already has seen what feels like a million collaborations. Presenting Adidas x Gucci, Palace x Calvin Klein, Supreme x Tiffany & Co and the rest. In and amongst the line-up, reveals a very special link-up of two titans repping the Birmingham city postcode. So when championing streetwear brand NCAPPED, and 360° concept store ‘THE PAWN SHOP’ led by Birmingham’s notorious designer dealer, vintage scholar and man-about-town ‘GETEMFROMKAM’ joined forces, we knew it was about to go down.
Setting unmissable scenes live from GETEMFROMKAM’s ‘PAWN SHOP’, NCAPPED led the pop-up to victory with the launch of a number of fresh, new styles of statement cargo pants, graphic tee’s and cozy two-piece sets alongside a physical photo exhibition. Original NCAPPED items were also brought out from the brand archive for the day, perfectly matched with the countless sneaker heat surrounding the NCAPPED store invasion.
To celebrate the pop-up, NCAPPED & the ‘PAWN SHOP’ invited their extensive family tree of musicians, artists, designers and creatives including DJ & Musician Trezzor, Virgil Abloh collaborator Lorenzo O.G, Birmingham rap royalty Prez.T & many more flocked to the turn-up.
